Festival crowd celebrates as a balloon takes off succesfully at Taunggyi balloon festival in Myanmar. The Taunggyi balloon festival is an annual event that pays homage to the Sulamani Pagoda in heaven by sending up decorated balloons. The decorated paper balloons are 5-15 meters tall carrying a long tail loaded with firecrackers or candles.
